Week 5 Update

One Hull of a Week!!

After struggling throughout the early part of the FPL season thankfully I have been able to do what Spurs have thus far failed to do and dragged my team up into a respectable position in the table. In fact I was the joint third highest climber in the top 50 this week!! (I know, but I haven't bigged myself up all season). Sadly number one son is heading south, after being 8th after week one Leon has slipped to 41st and only 3rd in the junior table.

So Hull have won again just as I predicted in this column a week ago. But did any of you listen to me ? Actually a few of you did. Five people picked up maximum bonus points for the game including last seasons FPL champion Paul Grunstein, Junior leader Dean Wilson and everyones favourite headmaster Simon (Freefall) Collins. Most of you (us) thought went for the obvious Spurs win. Well done to those who took a chance on the Tigers.

Liverpools late winner saved a few FPL teams as the majority of players went for a reds win. Only Dave (Shagger) Shack though managed to take maximum points though as he correctly predicted 2-3.

The Week Ahead

As this is an International week I will do my expert analysis... of the forthcoming fixtures early next week. The following week (FPL Week 7) is a double header with 20 matches being played. I am thinking that to really shake things up I will make that October's Double Bonus Points week. Unless of course any of you think differently ?? Let me know.
