FPL News - 10th February 2009

Week 21 Update

This week is FA Cup week and although there are two Premier League fixtures the FPL is having the week off. We have thought long and hard about how and whether to run it this week but have decided it's best to void these two fixtures and start again next weekend.

And to spice thinkgs up it will be February's Double Bonus Points week. Therefore you have until next Saturday the 21st to adjust your table and enter your predictions.

The Week Ahead

It's a fascinating fixture list which could have quite an effect on how the season turns out. The Villa Chelski match is a huge one, but they all have significance at one end of the table or other.

Leon and I are making the trip to Wales to watch Fulham take on one of the UK's form sides of the moment in Swansea City. Unbeaten since November I think we are going to have to be at our best to get through on the day. I wouldn't mind a replay, cup nights at the Cottage are always good value.

Here are the fixtures in full:

Arsenal
v
Sunderland
Aston Villa
v
Chelsea
Bolton Wanderers
v
West Ham United
Manchester United
v
Blackburn Rovers
Middlesbrough
v
Wigan Athletic
Stoke City
v
Portsmouth
Fulham
v
West Bromwich Albion
Liverpool
v
Manchester City
Newcastle United
v
Everton
Hull City
v
Tottenham Hotspur
