Week 18 Update

It really is getting tight at the top. This past week was just about the best bonus point week of the season so far. I managed 45 bonus points and all of them came on Saturday! Had Spurs and Liverpool delivered wins and had we not had to suffer such a painfull 90 minutes at the Boleyn Ground on Sunday, then it could have been even better.

Good to see young Dean Wilson climbing the table again after a couple of quiet weeks and watch out for David (TOOFIF) Lloyd who has sneaked into the top ten for the first time.

Double Bonus Points

It's the FA Cup this weekend but we are back in business a week today and this round will be January's double bonus points week. You all have just about a week from now to adjust your tables and add your predictions as the window will close on Monday night.

The Week Ahead

On Saturday Leon and I are making our first ever trip to Rockingham Road, the home of Kettering Town. If we play like we did at West Ham on Sunday the back pages will be full of stories of Giant Killing as we were awful. Hopefully we'll perform a little better and squeeze into the round five draw. On Tuesday night the team travel to Sunderland, it's a school night though so we will be watching it on teletext..

As for the rest of the midweek fixtures, I would expect Man U, Chelsea and Man City to win on current form but feel the rest of the games could go either way.

Here are the fixtures in full:

Portsmouth
v
Aston Villa
Sunderland
v
Fulham
Tottenham Hotspur
v
Stoke City
West Bromwich Albion
v
Manchester United
Blackburn Rovers
v
Bolton Wanderers
Chelsea
v
