FPL News - 29th January 2009

Week 19 Update

Firstly I must say a huge well done to the legend that is Paul Grunstein for an amazing week. His 160 bonus points, basically getting 8/10 results right was quite brilliant. Needless to say last years FPL champion is back on top of the table and looking favourite to regain his title. I really hope he made a trip to the betting shop and invested in a couple of accumulators. If so, then the drinks are on you PG..

There were a few of you who did really well this week and with everyone getting double bonus points, there have been some major moves up (and down) the table. As I said above this is another short window so log in and add your predictions ASAP.

The Week Ahead

After our match v Blackburn was postponed earlier in the month Leon and I will be at our first home game of the year on Saturday. It will be a tough match against a Pompey side who are going to be fighting like cornered tigers. The big game of the weekend is Chelskis visit to Anfield. Both teams seem to have caved in to the pressure of the mighty Fergie and I wouldn't be surprised if it finished 0-0. Other than that one nothing jumps out at me so I'll leave you to figure them out.

Here are the fixtures in full:

Hull City
v
